ABOUT THE RACE
The 8th annual road bicycle race starting and finishing in Trutnov. The race courses lead through the beautiful landscapes of the eastern Krkonoše Mountains and take riders all the way to their ridges.
Riders can choose from two courses. The longer course measures 140 km, the shorter course is 90 km long. The race also includes the legendary climbs to Pomezní Boudy and Pražská Bouda. The race also features accompanying events at the starting/finish line and children’s races.
Become a part of this one-of-a-kind athletic event, and participate in KRAKONOŠŮV CYKLOMARATON (THE KRAKONOŠ BICYCLE MARATHON) on 19 June 2021 in Trutnov.

Team competition is announced for short and long route as well.
Each team consists of a minimum 3 and a maximum of 6 competitors, who participate the same race route and start for the same team in the individual category as well.
Resulting time of the team is a sum of times achieved by 3 fastest riders of the particular team.
The fastest team on each route will be awarded during the winners ceremony.

The winner is the competitor with the highest number of points. In case of equality of points, the overall resut in finish decides.
The winner of the climbing contest will receive a polka dot jersey for the best climber of the race.

The start fee can be paid by credit card directly during registration (recommended), or by bank transfer. You will receive instructions for making a bank transfer payment by email after making the application form. Start fee includes:
- starting number
- promotional items from race partners (only for pre-registered)
- 2x refreshment stations on the track
- refreshments at the finish (food, drink)
- health and organizing service
- measuring times and processing results with chip technology
- participant t-shirt - 250.00 CZK (possibility of ordering online at the same time as registration by May 19, 2021)
Cancellation conditions for payment of the start fee:
If the race does not take place in 2021 due to arrangements regarding the spread of COVID 19, all competitors with already paid the start fee will be returned to the account from which the payment was made (unless i tis agreed with mutual consent in a different way) no later than 30 days after notification about not holding the race.
If the race is held in a substitute date in 2021, the paid entry fee will be automatically transferred to this date. However, if the competitor requests it within 14 days of the announcement of the substitude date of the race, the entry fee will be refunded in full.
In case that a competitor with an already paid start fee does not participate in the race and notifies the organizer in writing form no later than June 5th, 2021, he is entitled to a refund of the start fee after deducting a fee of 100 CZK per competitor.
In case that the competitor does not notify the organizer of his non-participation in the race or does so after the deadline of 5 June 2021, the right to a refund of any part of the entry fee is forfeited.
Markings: The track is marked with arrows (vertical signposts and flat markings on the road). There will be an organizing service in problematical places. From the point of view of orientation, the route is demanding and therefore it is necessary to pay increased attention to the marking of the track.
Controls: Chip, electronic recording of the passage at several places on the track.
Time limit: The organizer reserves the right to set a time limit for passing the limit point for security reasons. If a limit point is announced, the organizer will provide the track in the next section behind this point only for competitors who have passed the limit point before the specified limit has expired. Competitors who arrive at the limit point after the specified limit will be evaluated as "not finished" in the race results and their further movement on the race track and off the track will no longer be provided by the organizer.
Withdrawal from the race: In case of withdrawal from the race, the competitor will announce this to the nearest buffet or on phone number + 420 777 830 732.
Binding conditions for participation:
All participants in the race are obliged to follow this technical guide of the race. The condition of participation is a fully completed, signed and delivered application to the organizer (without requesting any change or with any reservations) or sending a fully completed electronic registration form (the form is available at www.krakonosuvcyklomaraton.cz).
By signing the application form or by filling in and sending the electronic registration form, the competitor agrees with the conditions of the race and declares that he takes note of the conditions of the race stated in this technical guide and at the same time agrees with the Information on personal data processing.
For competitors who do not reach the age of 18 on the day of the race, it means on 19th June 2021, the completed and confirmed Consent of the legal representative will be required during the presentation.
Each participant starts at his own risk and is obliged to wear a bicycle helmet for the entire duration of the race.
The race runs in full road traffic and competitors are obliged to comply with its rules set by applicable law (usually the decree on the rules of traffic on roads). Violation of these rules will result in disqualification.
If a competitor, whether intentionally or unintentionally, starts in advance, does not pass through the starting gate or overtakes the introductory vehicle, he will be disqualified.
Each competitor is also obliged to follow the instructions of the organizer, track regulators and police authorities and follow the rules of the road. The competitor is responsible for the safe operation of his accompanying vehicle. The competitor is obliged to behave fairly during the race.
The competitor is not aware of any obstacle in his state of health that would prevent him from starting.
The competitor acknowledges that the organizer of the race is not responsible for any damage to health and property, unless his fault is proven or if he did not take the stored items into custody.
The competitor will follow the instructions of the organizer, maintain order and will be as much as can be reasonably required of him to be environmentally friendly; otherwise he is responsible to the organizer for any damage he causes.
The competitor acknowledges that the race is partly run in the protected area of KRNAP and it is therefore necessary to follow the rules for this area.
The competitor confirms that all data in the application are filled in truthfully and is aware that in case of false information he is responsible to the organizer for all damages that arise.
The competitor acknowledges that violation of any of the binding conditions for participation in the race may result in disqualification.
In case that restrictions in connection with the coronavirus situation are in force within the given deadline, the competitor is obliged to follow the prescribed rules. The organizer reserves the right to limit the number of competitors, or. limit the accompanying program.
The competitor has the right to file a protest according to the provisions of this technical guide within 15 minutes after the publication of the results together with a deposit of 500 CZK. If the protest is rejected, the amount will be forfeited to the organizer. Later protests will not be taken into account.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA - Information about the protection of personal data.
Spolek SK CYKLISTIKA Trutnov, z.s. association, Business ID No. 26574209, with a registered address at Ve Vilkách 142, 54101 Trutnov, registered at the Regional Court in Hradec Králové in file L 6883, (hereinafter “the Association”), processes personal data in relation to the organisation of the bicycle race, Krakonošův cyklomaraton (Krakonoš Bicycle Marathon, hereinafter “the Race”). The Association processes personal data in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, particularly with Act no. 101/2000 Coll., on Personal Data Protection, as amended (hereinafter “the Act”) and with General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter "the Regulation").
The Association, as the administrator of your personal data pursuant to the Act and Regulation collects, stores, and utilises (and processes in other ways as well) your personal data in relation to the organisation of the race, i.e. primarily for the purpose preparing the start list, starting numbers, for the purpose of processing the results list, the announcement and conferring of prizes, and for statistical purposes.
These principles of personal data protection apply to all personal data collected by the Association based on the fulfilment of the contractual relationship, legal obligations, legitimate interest, or granted consent for the processing of personal data for marketing purposes.

The Association is also authorised to collect, store, and utilise certain information through automated means, i.e. statistical information resulting from visiting the website.

Fulfilment of the contractual relationship
Race participant records
Race results records
Increasing the safety of services provided
Improving the quality of our services and the development of new services

Submitting business announcements and marketing purposes
Securing the protection of health and property
Accounting and tax purposes
Advertising and marketing purposes
Fulfilment of other legal obligations
3. WHEN WE NEED CONSENT FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We must obtain your consent for processing your personal data for marketing purposes.

5. DURATION OF STORING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data is processed and stored for the duration necessary to observe all of the rights and obligations arising from the contract, i.e. at least for the duration of securing the implementation of the organisation of the Race, and furthermore for the duration after which the Association is required as the administrator to store it in accordance with generally binding regulations or for the duration for which you have granted your consent.
6. INFORMATION ON THE RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Based on the Act and the Regulation, if we are processing your personal data, you have the following rights:
the right to raise an objection with the Association against the processing or your personal data via e-mail sent to email@example.com,
the right to access to your personal data being processed by the Association, the right to request its change or deletion, or possible limitations on its processing, as well as the right to data portability if technically possible,
the right to request information from the Association about the purpose of the personal data processing, about the category of the personal data concerned, about the recipient or category of recipients who have already had or will have access, about the source of the personal data if it is obtained from sources other than myself, i.e. from public databases, information on the manner of processing or about possible profiling, and basic information related to the processes used, the reasons or expected consequences of such processing for yourself,
if we are processing your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time,
the right to submit a complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection if you have reasonable suspicion of harm to your rights or other legal violations in the processing of your personal data.

7. INFORMATION ON THE HANDLING OF AUDIO AND IMAGE RECORDS
By submitting your registration form, you are granting the Association consent, in relation to your participation in the Race, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation Section 84 et seq. of the Civil Code as amended, with the acquisition of your likeness, audio, image, or audio/video records during the course of the Race and/or during the presentation of any prize that is awarded to you personally under the Race (hereinafter “image”), and you grant your consent to the use of the image for commercial purposes in all communication media, regardless of their nature and designation, in all standard manners, with its subsequent modification and any possible connection with other parts or inclusion in a collective work. You grant this consent free of charge, without any material, quantitative, or territorial limitation for 5 years. This consent also applies to third parties to whom the Association provides the image, in accordance with its designation.
