ABOUT THE RACE
The 6th annual road bicycle race through the Czech-Polish borderlands starting and finishing in Trutnov. The race courses lead through the beautiful landscapes of the eastern Krkonoše Mountains, including the Polish side, and take riders all the way to their ridges.
Riders can choose from two courses. The longer course measures 172 km with an overall elevation gain of 2.999 m, the shorter course is 125 km long, with an overall elevation gain of 1.777 m. The race also includes the legendary climbs to Pomezní Boudy and Pražská Bouda. The race also features accompanying events at the starting/finish line and children’s races.

- Detailed information will be released one month before the event at the latest.
- Team competitions are posted for both the short and long courses.
- Each team must have a minimum of three and a maximum of six riders who will ride the same course and start for the same team and individual category.
- The final time for each team shall be the sum of the its three fastest riders.
- The fastest team for each course shall be announced and awarded prizes.
Hill-climb competition (long course):
Hill-Climb Award Category II – Pomezní Boudy, Strážné, Hoffmanovy Boudy
Scoring: 5 - 3 - 1 point
Hill-Climb Award Category I – Pražská Bouda
Scoring: 10 - 5 - 3 - 2 - 1 point
The competitor with the highest number of points wins. In case of a tie, the rider with the best finishing position wins.
The winner of the hill-climb competition shall receive a polka dot jersey for the best hill-climber of the race.

The organiser reserves the right to change the time of the announcement of the results and the raffle. Please monitor the updated news of the speaker of the race.
All of the information listed below applies to the main race (both courses). Information about children’s races shall be released approximately one month before the event.

Information for the team competition:
Teams of competitors that have already registered can be registered online through Friday 14 June until 12:00 p.m., and after this deadline at the race office upon arrival.
- Team races are posted for both the short and long routes.
- Each team must have a minimum of three and a maximum of six participants who will ride the same route and compete for the same team and individual category.
- The final time for each team shall be the sum of the its three fastest riders.
- The fastest team for each course shall be announced and awarded.
- Team registration:
Team members must first register as individual competitors.
- The team then must register a roster of their members by filling out and submitting the form below.

- Through 31 March 2019 - CZK 500 (decided by the date that the payment is received to the organiser’s account; we recommend sending payment by 27 March 2019)
- Through 12 June 2019 - CZK 600 (decided by the date that the payment is received to the organiser’s account; we recommend sending payment by 10 June 2019)
Send your registration fee to account no.: 107-4087070287/0100 (for international payments, use IBAN CZ51 0100 0001 0740 8707 0287, SWIFT/BIC KOMBCZPPXXX), you shall receive the variable symbol for your payment via e-mail once you have completed your online registration. For assurance purposes, you may list the name of the competitor in the payment order.

Registration fee cancellation conditions:
If a competitor who has already paid their registration fee will not be participating in the race and notifies the organiser of this fact in writing by 1 June 2019, he/she is entitled to a refund of the registration fee, minus a CZK 100 fee per competitor.
In the event that the competitor does not notify the organiser of their inability to participate, or does not notify them by the deadline of 1 June 2019, he/she forfeits their claim to a registration fee refund.
Prizes and commemorative trophies for the first three competitors in the individual categories.
The winner of each category shall receive an original Krakonošův cyklomaraton (Krakonoš Bicycle Marathon) jersey and free registration for 2020.
All competition numbers shall be included in the raffle drawing.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA - Information about the protection of personal data.
Spolek SK CYKLISTIKA Trutnov, z.s. association, Business ID No. 26574209, with a registered address at Ve Vilkách 142, 54101 Trutnov, registered at the Regional Court in Hradec Králové in file L 6883, (hereinafter “the Association”), processes personal data in relation to the organisation of the bicycle race, Krakonošův cyklomaraton (Krakonoš Bicycle Marathon, hereinafter “the Race”). The Association processes personal data in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, particularly with Act no. 101/2000 Coll., on Personal Data Protection, as amended (hereinafter “the Act”) and with General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter "the Regulation").
The Association, as the administrator of your personal data pursuant to the Act and Regulation collects, stores, and utilises (and processes in other ways as well) your personal data in relation to the organisation of the race, i.e. primarily for the purpose preparing the start list, starting numbers, for the purpose of processing the results list, the announcement and conferring of prizes, and for statistical purposes.
These principles of personal data protection apply to all personal data collected by the Association based on the fulfilment of the contractual relationship, legal obligations, legitimate interest, or granted consent for the processing of personal data for marketing purposes.

The Association is also authorised to collect, store, and utilise certain information through automated means, i.e. statistical information resulting from visiting the website.

5. DURATION OF STORING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data is processed and stored for the duration necessary to observe all of the rights and obligations arising from the contract, i.e. at least for the duration of securing the implementation of the organisation of the Race, and furthermore for the duration after which the Association is required as the administrator to store it in accordance with generally binding regulations or for the duration for which you have granted your consent.
6. INFORMATION ON THE RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Based on the Act and the Regulation, if we are processing your personal data, you have the following rights:
the right to raise an objection with the Association against the processing or your personal data via e-mail sent to email@example.com,
the right to access to your personal data being processed by the Association, the right to request its change or deletion, or possible limitations on its processing, as well as the right to data portability if technically possible,
the right to request information from the Association about the purpose of the personal data processing, about the category of the personal data concerned, about the recipient or category of recipients who have already had or will have access, about the source of the personal data if it is obtained from sources other than myself, i.e. from public databases, information on the manner of processing or about possible profiling, and basic information related to the processes used, the reasons or expected consequences of such processing for yourself,

7. INFORMATION ON THE HANDLING OF AUDIO AND IMAGE RECORDS
By submitting your registration form, you are granting the Association consent, in relation to your participation in the Race, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation Section 84 et seq. of the Civil Code as amended, with the acquisition of your likeness, audio, image, or audio/video records during the course of the Race and/or during the presentation of any prize that is awarded to you personally under the Race (hereinafter “image”), and you grant your consent to the use of the image for commercial purposes in all communication media, regardless of their nature and designation, in all standard manners, with its subsequent modification and any possible connection with other parts or inclusion in a collective work. You grant this consent free of charge, without any material, quantitative, or territorial limitation for 5 years. This consent also applies to third parties to whom the Association provides the image, in accordance with its designation.
